Eureka Equity Partners Announces Promotions

PHILADELPHIA, PA -

Eureka Equity Partners (“Eureka”), a Philadelphia-based private equity firm, today announced promotions earned by three of its team members, effective January 1, 2023.

Alexandra (Tassie) Oswald was promoted to Partner from Principal. Tassie currently serves on the Board of Directors of LegalPartners Group, MedForce, and Synergi, and was formerly a Director of McCue Corporation. Tassie has also been actively involved in Eureka’s investments in CCA Floor & Interiors, Creative Co-Op, FlexManage, NetBoss Technologies, Total Military Management and West Academic Publishing. Prior to joining Eureka in 2009, Tassie was an Analyst in the investment banking division of Goldman, Sachs & Co. Tassie received an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.

Dan Black was promoted to Principal from Vice President. Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors of UTC Retail. Dan has also been actively involved in the firm’s investments in iPEC Coaching, Jansy Packaging, LegalPartners Group, MedForce and Merit Service Solutions. Prior to joining Eureka in 2017, Dan was an Associate Vice President at Bessemer Securities, an Associate at Metalmark Capital and an Investment Banking Analyst at Greenhill & Company. Dan received a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Melanie (Ellie) Butler was promoted to Controller from Fund Accountant. Prior to joining Eureka in 2019, Ellie was a Senior Associate at Hamilton Lane Advisors and an Audit Staff Accountant at Ernst & Young, LLP. Ellie received a BBA in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Public Accountant.
